Leonard Estep, 90, of Warsaw, died at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 2010, in Mason Health & Rehab, Warsaw.

He was born March 27, 1920, in Leesburg, to Curtis and Flossie Scoels Estep. On April 27, 1979, in Warsaw, he married Ruby "Eileen" Kelley Lichtenwalter, who survives.

A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he worked for Nickel Plate Railroad from 1950-62, then was a self-employed excavating contractor for 30 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw. He was a member of Echoes of the Past Antique Tractor Organization and the 2 Cylinder Club. He loved snowmobiling, antique tractors and was an outside general tinkerer. He graduated from Pierceton High School in 1938, and attended Purdue University.

Also surviving are a son, Mickey Estep, Warsaw; a brother, Russell Clarence Estep, San Jose, Calif.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Andy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Etna Green Cemetery.

Calling is two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
