Leona Ruth Otto, 94, of Troy, Mich., died July 18, 2008, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, while visiting her daughter.
She was born April 30, 1914, in Detroit, Mich., to Theodore and Ida Hoffman Mallon. On Oct. 10, 1936, she married William Otto, who preceded her in death.
She was a realtor at O&O Reality Co., Ferndale, Mich.
Surviving are two daughters, Pat (and spouse Jim) Newcombe, Leesburg, and Judy (and spouse Jim) Hoppin, Bloomfield, Mich.; a son, David (and spouse Janna) Otto, San Diego, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Elmer Mellon, Cleveland, Ohio, and Don Mellon, Norwich, Conn. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
A memorial service will be Aug. 16 in Detroit.
