NAPPANEE - Leona May Gerard Lutes, 86, of 7735 W. CR 800N, Nappanee, died at 3 p.m. May 16, 2007, in his residence.
She was born May 25, 1920, in Stony Point, to Sherman and Gertie Harman Gerard. On June 14, 1941, in Syracuse, she married Delbert K. Lutes, who died March 14, 2005.
A lifetime area resident, she was an Atwood High School graduate, a homemaker and attended Mt. Tabor Church of God.
Surviving are a son, Dewayne Lutes, Warsaw; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Kara Lutes, both of Warsaw. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mt. Tabor Church of God with the Revs. Robert Wyman and Stan Owens officiating. Burial will be in Stony Point Cemetery, Nappanee.
Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
