Leo H. Richey, 81, Leesburg, passed away at 12:30 p.m. May 29, 2015, at his residence. He was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Cannelton, to Harry and Edna Richardson Richey. On Sept. 15, 1955, in Angola, he married Lois M. Mack, who died May 11, 2015. He was a 1951 graduate of Tell City High School. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived most of his life in Leesburg. He was manager for Pepsi-Cola Warsaw plant for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the VFW Men’s Auxiliary; American Legion Post 253, North Webster; Warsaw Bowing Association; and the VFW shuffleboard team. Surviving are two sons, Larry (and spouse Sue) Richey, Leesburg, and Matt Richey, Warsaw; two daughters, Faith (and spouse Matt) Kirkendall and Juanita (and spouse Gale) Danner, all of Warsaw; nine grandchildren: Eric, Chantelle, Amber, Roger, Nellie, Samantha, Shanna, Alexis, Emma; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Thomas, Fort Wayne. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bob Richey; and two sisters, Mary Marchand and Dualee Jarboe. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, chaplain at Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice, officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Warsaw’s American Legion Post 49 and VFW Post 1126.
