Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
The Sons of the American Legion Squadron #49 and the Warsaw Community Development Corporation are spearheading the effort to replace American flags in the downtown area.
The goal of the project is to have new flags displayed by the June 14 Flag Day. The flags will then fly until Veteran's Day.
Individuals who would like to sponsor a flag for $25 in honor of a veteran or loved one may write a check payable to SAL Squadron 49, PO Box 1797, Warsaw, IN 46581.
Organizers hope the flags will last three seasons. A listing of those honored will be placed in the Times Union on Flag Day.
