Leesburg Students Learn, Play SpikeballLEESBURG – Students at Leesburg Elementary School had the opportunity April 27 to learn and experiment with a game called Spikeball.

Spikeball is most popular with males between the ages of 18-30, according to a news release from Warsaw Community Schools. Students were able to learn about the rewards of teamwork and coordination through playing the game while helping to build the fanbase with younger generations.

Morgan Michalski, staffed by Spikeball, visited Leesburg to teach the gym classes different variations and training methods of the game. Students were introduced to many skills like communication, hand-eye coordination, teamwork and more. Students from kindergarten to sixth grade were able to train and play the game.

This is the type of activity students can play in a variety of locations such as school, home, parks and even local beaches.
