Leesburg Sets Town Employee Evaluations

LEESBURG – The town of Leesburg met Monday evening for their monthly board meeting.
As the first item of business, the board elected Doug Jones as president and Larry Richey as vice president.
The board also announced a closed-session meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday for town employee evaluations. All town employees must be in attendance to receive their evaluation.
Although not in attendance, the board recognized Christine Archer and Sue Charleton for their work they put into the Christmas Candle Celebration.
In other items of business, the board discussed their annual grease trap inspections, work on three sewage pumps and setting up a sidewalk replacement policy.
The board reminded everyone in attendance of no parking on the street from 3 to 5 a.m. and no burning within the town.
The board meets again at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11.
