Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Leesburg, Indiana; hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, will receive sealed bids for the following project:
Renovation of the Leesburg Town Hall
100 East Van Buren Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538
Proposals may be forwarded individually by registered mail or delivered in person, addressed to the Clerk-Treasurer, Town of Leesburg, 102 South Pearl Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538, prior to 11:30 a.m., August 13, 2018. Bids received after 11:30 a.m. on August 13, 2018 will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened.
All proposals will be considered by the OWNER at a public meeting held at the Plain Township Advisory Board Building, 34 East Armstrong Road, Leesburg, Indiana 46538, all proposals will be opened and read aloud at 6:30 p.m. local time, August 13, 2018.
The work to be performed and the proposals to be submitted shall include a bid for all general construction, labor, material, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, service costs, etc. incidental to and required for this project.
All materials furnished and labor performed incidental to and required by the proper and satisfactory execution of the contract to be made, shall be furnished and performed in accordance with requirements from the plans and specifications available at Office of the Clerk-Treasurer, Town of Leesburg, 102 South Pearl Street, Leesburg, Indiana 46538, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on July 3, 2018.
Each proposal must be submitted on a fully completed Indiana Form #96.
The Town Board at its discretion reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding, and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. All bids submitted shall be valid for 90 days from the opening of the bids.
