LEESBURG - A Leesburg man is being held on charges of having an illegal drug lab and precursors after a Thursday afternoon arrest.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers arrived at the home of Neal Edward Duncan, 50, of 158 EMS T32 Lane, Leesburg, Thursday afternoon to serve two class-A misdemeanor warrants.

While outside the residence, officers reported noticing the remnants of a methamphetamine lab in plain view.

Officers then contacted and obtained a search warrant from the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office for entry into the residence.

Once inside, officers allegedly found more evidence of methamphetamine production.

Duncan also was found hiding in the residence.

The drug task force had received several complaints from neighbors concerning the possible production of meth by Duncan.

Duncan was booked into Kosciusko County Jail at 3:47 p.m. Thursday on two counts of an illegal drug lab and one count of possession of legends and precursors.

Duncan's bond was set at $1,000.
