GOSHEN - A Leesburg man died after a Friday morning traffic accident south of Goshen.
Douglas Heine, 43, of 55 EMS T-6 Lane, Leesburg, died around 10:30 a.m. Friday from injuries suffered during an accident at the intersection of U.S. 33 and CR 42 in Elkhart County.
According to Elkhart County Sheriff's Department, Heine was driving northwest on U.S. 300 in his 1998 Ford Escort while a semi driven by Allie Duncan, 45, Mishawaka, was headed southeast on U.S. 33.
Police stated Heine's Ford Escort crossed the center line and collided with the semi.
