A group of about 90 sixth-graders from Leesburg Elementary participated in Be A Good Neighbor Day Friday, raking leaves and cleaning yards of Leesburg residents. Leesburg Elementary School paired with Embarq for the project, which allowed students to help at 10 residences in the town. Embarq provided pizza for participating students after the project was finished. Some of the students participating (L to R) were: front row, Skyler Holsclaw, Destiney Sheets, Devin Gerding and Ashley Staton; second row, Mr. Roler, Leesburg sixth-grade teacher, Emma Rager, Trey Chadwick and William Kois.
