I wrote a letter some time ago about Leesburg sewer and safety problems. I got about 98 percent positive feedback.

As I noted, we have no law enforcement, so at night you have many young kids on the street all through the night. People making shortcuts speed through town, and the lakers are the worst as they pull their boats and only slow down at stop signs.

Well, when I wrote the last letter I only made reference to problems in town. Old signs you can't read, no yellow paint in "no parking" areas.

Only one person got upset, thinking my complaints were about him. It's the same one that parks cars that make school buses hard to get through (if their job is not hard enough). The safety of kids is what I was worried about. Parking should not be allowed where school buses come right out of the school parking lots and have to twist and turn to get on their way. Our kids should be our first concern as many walk to school at this very dangerous intersection!
