ROCHESTER – Lee W. Lacey Sr., 69, Leiters Ford, died at 5:55 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care.
On Oct. 23, 1951, Lee Walter Lacey was born in Dayton, Ohio, to John and Florence Swiezler Lacey.
Lee enlisted with the United States Army, serving for eight years with stints in Vietnam and Germany. He served as a mechanic and the in the infantry before being honorably discharged.
In Plymouth, Lee married the love of his life Charlene Marie Alston on July 16, 2001.
Visitation for Lee Walter Lacey Sr. will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Family chapel services will be Friday, Dec. 11 in the Marion National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the US Army. Burial will follow.
