Ledford Hensley, 82, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 11, 2015, at Signature Healthcare of Bremen, where he resided for the last 2-1/2 months of his life. He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Merline, who resides in Warsaw. He will be dearly missed by all of his family. He worked at Schraders Automotive for 20 years and then started Ledford’s Gun and Pawn Shop, where he met so many nice people. He always treated his renters and clients at Ledford’s with respect and was rewarded by God with good health until the last five or so years, so we were blessed. He lived in Warsaw for at least 58 years. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and is the last of his immediate family left except for a few nieces and nephews. Also surviving are five children: Ruby Schooley, California; Toni Archer, Cindy (and spouse Rick) Heckaman, Marvin (and spouse Kim) Hensley and Carla Marie (and spouse Tim) Lowman; 10 grandkids; and 11 great-grandkids, all of Warsaw. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery, with Pastor Greg Demopoulos officiating. Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. ***** Memorials can be made to the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County, 3489 E. 100 S., Pierceton, Indiana 46562.
