CASSOPOLIS, Mich. – Leatrice Jean Seymour, 86, Cassopolis and formerly of Warsaw, died early morning, Sept. 23, 2014, at her residence. She was born Sept. 22, 1928, in Warsaw to Wilbur Fred and Pauline Iva Oswalt Neer. She was married to George Seymour, who preceded her in death. A 1947 graduate of Warsaw High School, she graduated from Fort Wayne School of Cosmetology in 1950. She owned and operated Leat’s Beauty Salon in Warsaw for 50 years. She was a former member of Trinity Methodist Church, Warsaw. Surviving are five siblings: Kathryn Taylor, Ocala, Fla.; Frederick (and spouse Mildred) Neer, Lake Placid, Fla.; Don (and spouse Joan) Neer, New Paris; Shirley Timmons, Leesburg; and Ralph (and spouse Mary) Neer, Warsaw. She will be missed by her niece, Alicia Long, nephew, Darren Neer, and her beloved dog, Ava. She was also preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings: Harold Neer, Mary Mueller, Helen McKinney, John Neer, Martha Groves and two infants.
