Learning AlgonquianFifth-graders at South Whitley Elementary School were speaking Algonquian. Thanks to a visit from South Whitley Public Library’s Abby Harris-Correll, the students got a mini-lesson on the Algonquian alphabet, vowel sounds, numbers, months and some other vocabulary. The SWPL is working with SWES in a partnership to further enrich the curriculum and get students excited about learning.
