FORT WAYNE - How can your child receive four years of free tuition from a university in Indiana?
Attend one of the eight "Twenty-first Century Scholars Days" offered by the Twenty-first Century Scholars office at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.
Parents of sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students will have the opportunity to sign up their children for the Twenty-first Century Scholars program if they meet the state's requirements. Parents will receive a complimentary gift when they complete an enrollment application for their child. Staff will be available to provide material and information about the program.
The session, which is free and open to the public, is offered on the following dates:- May 19, Dekalb High School, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- May 20, Huntington High School, 6 to 7 p.m.
- May 26, Angola Library, Steuben County, 6 to 7 p.m.
- May 27, IPFW's Walb Student Union Ballroom, Allen County, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- May 30, Decatur Library, Adams County, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- June 1, Kendallville Library, Noble County, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- June 2, Columbia City Library, Whitley County, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- June 4, Norwell High School, Wells County, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Twenty-first Century Scholars program raises the educational aspirations of low- and moderate-income families. This program is aimed to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children.
