Kosciusko Leadership Academy Class of 2002 is busy preparing for its annual event - "Project Proud" - to be held Tuesday at the Lake City Bank Training Center, 109 S. Buffalo St., Warsaw.
Project Proud will begin at 7:15 a.m., although attendees may arrive earlier. The event will be a presentation of White Paper projects by the class members, which they have worked on this year. The topics of the presentations comprise areas of interest in the community.
Community leaders, business people, social service organizations, church affiliates, service organizations and community members in general are invited to attend at any point during the morning to hear presentations of topics which interest them. Each presentation wil be less than 10 minutes in length.

1. Downtown Revitalization/ "Building Warsaw's Future"
2. Red Light Violations/ "Stop U.S. 30 Red Light Running"
3. Baker Youth Club's Positive Choices for 2nd Shift Community
4. Aiding Youth Through the Fair Queen Scholarship Pageant
5. 2004 - Expanding Childcare Options
6. Community Youth Asset Mapping
7. Youth Services Database
8. Public Transportation: "The Jury is Out"
9. The WCS Handbook for Mentors, Tutors and Volunteers
10. Heart of Gold
11. Substandard Housing Study in Conjunction with Habitat for Humanity
A total of 26 class members will present these topics. Once again the KLA class has succeeded in identifying many issues of concern in the community for their projects.
The class will graduate May 2.
