Lakeland Christian Academy is in its fifth year of providing free daycare for infant through Kindergarten-aged children as a part of the Miraculous Moments for Moms program. Most of the students and adults serving as caregivers are CPR certified. The next date for free childcare is Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Warsaw Community Church from 12:40 to 3:10 p.m. Children are grouped by ages – infant, crawlers, walkers, ages 2 and 3, and ages 4 and 5, or Kindergarten-aged. The afternoon includes a short Bible story, a coloring page for appropriate ages, a snack and large muscle playtime. Parents interested in the service do not need to register. For more information, call Carole Delp at 574-267-3248 or 574-376-0159.
