WINONA LAKE – Lakeland Christian Academy’s drama department will present “Sing On!” today, Friday and Saturday. This is a comedy about a musical by Rick Abbot. When the actors of a community theater realize their theater is in jeopardy of closing its doors, they’re forced to take a chance on another Phyllis Montague show, this time joined by her song-writing nephew, Monte, in order to earn a grant from an historical society. The Bess Boosters’ goal is to boost the reputation of Queen Elizabeth I, with a musical that features the well-known songs of Stephen Foster. The intrepid thespians know disaster will probably result. Can they pull it off and save their beloved theater? Come and see. Performances are today, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door; adults $6, students and senior citizens $4, and preschoolers are free. LCA is at 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake.
