COLUMBIA CITY – Lawrence “Larry” W. Pressler, 62 of Columbia City, died at 12:15 a.m. March 5, 2012, in his residence. He was in failing health.
He was born March 19, 1949, in Wabash, to Larry G. and Betty Stark Pressler. On June 19, 1971, he married Melanie J. Kyler, who survives.
He graduated from South Whitley High School in 1967 and attended Sams Technical Institute, Indianapolis. For the past 20, he worked at Drudge Screw Products, Warsaw, in the engineering department.
Also surviving are two daughters, Juliette “Julie” (and spouse William) Branning, Fort Wayne, and Gretchen L. Pressler, Columbia City; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Columbia City, with Pastor Philip Rittner II officiating.
Calling will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
