In an attempt to respond to Mr. Zolman’s plausible solution to the law enforcement conflict in Kosciusko County (Times-Union, June 26, 2017):
You know you can assemble the best minds in the state of Indiana (i.e., independent commission, mediators, clergy, etc.), but if there is no change in the human heart (repentance/forgiveness, that’s the solution) of the offending principals, the results remain the same: hurt feelings, festering wounds, bad blood, another WPD/KCSD potential blowup ... a ticking time bomb? It’s only a matter of time.

P.S. I totally agree with Mr. Zolman’s assessment: “Sweeping it under the rug” has not worked in the past (past administrations have not dealt with it). It has not worked in the present (Rovenstine, Heaton conflict), was a train wreck. And see the above assessment: That is what will be in store in the future in our community if not resolved.
