BOURBON – Seventh-ranked (Class 1A) LaVille scored early and often while limiting Triton offensively in a 56-0 rout of the Trojans Friday night. LaVille had 410 yards of total offense, 323 of it on the ground, while holding the Trojans to 78 total yards, including 10 yards passing. Triton gained just three first downs on the night, and the Lancers led 35-0 at halftime. Lancer junior running back Ethan Kertai rushed for 147 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns. Mason Leed had a touchdown rushing and another one receiving. Quarterback Adam Steinke passed for a touchdown and ran for another, and Riley Wagoner added a rushing touchdown for LaVille. Triton fell to 1-1 overall as well as in the Hoosier North Athletic Conference, and will play its first HNAC road game against Pioneer in Royal Center Friday.
