Laura Rarick Edmundson, 92, of Oswego, died at 5:05 a.m. April 17, 2010, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Upland, to Claude and Lona Gillespie Rarick. On Sept. 1, 1940, she married William Clarrel Edmundson, who preceded her in death.
She attended Northwestern University and studied art at Indiana University, Bloomington. She worked at Delco-Remey, Anderson, where she met her future husband.
Surviving are her children: Roberta Edmundson Rose, Warsaw; Daniel C. (and spouse Lorna Duphiney) Edmundson, Chambersburg, Pa.; and James R. (and spouse Judi Rex) Edmundson, Bristol; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and Mark Burks et al. providing her care the last two years. She was preceded in death by a brother, Reevan Rarick; an infant daughter, Barbara; a son, William E. Edmundson; and a grandson, William R. Edmundson.
Plans for a memorial service are pending.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
