Laura A. Carnes Byrd, 46, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 29, 2010, in her Hoffman Lake residence of rural Warsaw, after a 2-1/2-year battle with Leukemia.
She was born July 3, 1964, at Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox, to Charles L. and Sandra L. Keiper Carnes, who survive in Warsaw.
She was a waitress at Stacy's Sports Inn, Leesburg.
Surviving are two sons, Christopher Byrd, Warsaw, and Matthew Byrd, Jeffersonville; a sister, Linda Carnes Rummer, Warsaw; and two brothers, Steve (and spouse Lillian) Carnes, Burket, and Dave Carnes, Leesburg.
A private service is planned.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw.
