'Late Nite Catechism' Coming To Honeywell Center

WABASH - The interactive play "Late Nite Catechism" visits Wabash for two shows March 18 at 3 and 7:30 p.m.

Sponsored by First Merchants Bank, the show is one of the longest-running plays in Chicago and U.S. history.

Described as part catechism class and part stand-up routine, the play was created by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan based on the experiences of family and friends growing up Catholic in Chicago. It features an irrepressible "Sister" who teaches class to a roomful of "students" (the audience). The students receive rewards of glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other prizes for correct answers but are punished by sitting in the corner of the stage for being naughty."Late Nite Catechism" will take the audience back to their youth by bringing the Catholic school atmosphere into a setting everyone can enjoy.

Tickets are $12, $18 and $25, and may be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 260-563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org
