SYRACUSE – Chautauqua-Wawasee’s Summer 2012 programming only has three more programs left and there is something for everyone.
The final programs of the season will take place at Syracuse Community Center, 1013 Long Drive, Syracuse.
Today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Don’t miss the “Wall Pocket King”, Doug Grant. Grant is known for his massive collection of American Art Pottery.
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Bring the children to the art room to make a craft, while parents and grandparents can enjoy From The Ground Up’s – Show ’N’ Tell session.
Just for Kids – Children in kindergarten through sixth grade can enjoy Hobby Shop where young artists can make their own creation that you can treasure for years. Each session is only $5 per child, to cover cost of materials.  This session will be held under the direction of Creative Fish Art Gallery and ArtZie Workshop.
For all ages –  The final session of from “The Ground Up” is part of Chautauqua-Wawasee’s educational series that is loosely based on Eli Lilly’s book “Early Wawasee Days”. This is a free learning adventure for all ages. This session  will include a very special “Show ’N’ Tell” where you can share your own experiences and memories of Lake Wawasee.  This session will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes snacks and beverages.
Sunday, 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Susan Miller was born and raised Amish and became Mennonite in her 30s.  In 2010, Susan became managing director of daily operations at the Menno-Hof Museum in Shipshewana. Miller’s experience and knowledge will provide a true learning adventure for the conclusion of this season’s Neighbors in our World.Post-Season
