Lakeland Community Concert Association has only one show left for the 2012-13 season. But new members who buy 2013-14 season tickets before that final show will get the April 26 concert included in the season ticket price. Rodney Mack’s Philadelphia Big Brass performs April 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Rodeheaver Auditorium, 900 Park Ave., Winona Lake. Tickets are $15 single admission. According to information provided by the LCCA, this group is comprised of five of America’s “top” brass musicians who are dedicated to bringing the “joyous experience of great music to a wide range of audiences.” For the 2013-14 season, season tickets are just $45 for five shows. By buying them by April 26, it’s $45 for six shows – the last one this season and the five next season. The Purdue Varsity Glee Club kicks off the season next year with a concert Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. “With integrity, passion, unparalleled showmanship and attention to detail, this select group of young men have proudly served as ambassadors of the university with honor and dignity for more than 115 years,” according to information provided.
