Larry Wayne “Cupcake” Ervin, 69, Clinton, and formerly of Warsaw, died May 9, 2016, at his residence. He was born Nov. 16, 1946, in Warsaw, to Orville J. and Francis Young Ervin. On March 23, 1992, he married his late wife, Janice Ray Adams Ervin. He was a 1966 graduate from Mentone High School. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He was a baker. He enjoyed baking, clowning and volunteering at the Clinton Food Pantry. His clown name was “Cupcake.” Surviving are his children, Thomas (and spouse Mary) Ervin and Larry Ervin Jr., all of Terre Haute, and Tammy (and spouse Ervin) Cegielski, Marshall; one sister, Ruthie (and spouse Terry) Rootstool, Warsaw; two brothers, Thomas (and spouse Barb) Ervin, Ligonier, and Donald (and spouse Regina) Ervin, Warsaw; two stepchildren, Lynette (and spouse Ron) McClure, Terre Haute, and Adam Ray (and spouse Michelle) Bunton, Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and one-great grandchild.
