NORTH WEBSTER – Larry Ray Templeton, 55, Warsaw, and formerly of North Webster, died at 2:10 a.m. Aug. 25, 2013, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Warsaw.
He was born Dec. 22, 1957, in Fort Wayne, to Esco Willis and Kay Frances Parr Templeton. He was formerly married to Debbie Pearson, Nappanee, who survives.
He graduated in 1976 from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He grew up in the North Webster area, lived in Florida for 20 years, Muncie for six years, and returned to the Warsaw area three years ago. He was employed at Shiloh Industries (formerly Contech Castings), Pierceton, for the past three years, and formerly worked at Merchant Metals in New Paris, Bic Corporation and Breyers Ice Cream, both in Florida.
Also surviving are two daughters, Hailey (and fiance Aaron Marshall) Templeton, Warsaw, and Corrine Posciask-Templeton, Davenport, Fla.; a son, Sterling Templeton, Auburn; two grandchildren; and brother, Kevin Templeton, Dunedin, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, with Pastor David Smitley officiating. A private family burial will be in the Mock Addition to the North Webster Cemetery.
Calling will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
