AKRON – Larry Lee Norman, 80, rural Akron, died Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at his daughter’s residence.
Larry was born on Nov. 1, 1945, in Rochester, to W. Glen and Ina Ruth Homan Norman. He served his country in the U.S. Army in the military police in the U.S. and Thailand. He married Edith Crum, they later parted. He then married Lorraine Thompson Duzan on May 27, 1978, in his home with Pastor George Hapner officiating; she survives.
The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
His interment will take place following the service in the Gilead Cemetery, Gilead, with military honors conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard.
Visitation hours will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
