NORTH MANCHESTER – Larry L. Fawcett, 75, North Manchester, died at 4:44 p.m. March 11, 2016, in Timbercrest Healthcare Center, North Manchester. He was born Dec. 10, 1940, in Huntington, to Paul and Nila Burgess Fawcett. On July 18, 1964, he married Karen S. Secor, who survives. He worked for Invensys Control for 45 years and retired in 2006. He also was employed with the North Manchester Dairy Queen for 20-plus years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, North Manchester. He graduated from South Whitley High School in 1959. He attended Manchester College. Also surviving are three daughters: Terri Cook, Fort Wayne; Cheryl Fawcett and Deanna (and spouse Craig) Wampler, all of North Manchester; three grandchildren: Kerra Cook, Halie and Abbie Wampler; a brother, Bob (and spouse Karen) Fawcett, North Manchester; a sister, Paula (and spouse Frank) Mossburger, Tucson, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Patricia Fawcett, South Whitley; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Alan Fawcett, who died in 1994. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating.
