NAPPANEE - Larry Dean Roeder, 63, of 801 W. Centennial St., Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes at 2:14 p.m. Oct. 7, 2007, in the emergency room at Goshen General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 3, 1944, in St. Joseph County, to Herman Roscoe and Chloe Strahly Roeder. On March 20, 1965, in Nappanee, he married Dixie Weaver, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, he was a New Paris High School graduate and worked at Fabwel (Owens Corning) and Nickel's Bakery for 16-1/2 years. He was associated with the Back 40 Trap Club.
Also surviving are a brother, Donald Roeder, Nappanee; and two sisters, Shirley Jean Replogle, Bremen, and Minnie Marlene Roeder, Nappanee. He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, with Pastor Carl Brenner officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
