WABASH - Larry A. Smith, 59, of Pierceton, and formerly of Wabash, died at 11:58 a.m. Feb. 18, 2008, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Morgantown, W.Va., to Charles and Pauline Groves Smith. On Aug. 13, 2002, he married Linda Shultz, who survives.
He was owner and president of Bowling Promotions, Wabash. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Elks Lodge, Wabash, and American Legion, North Webster.
Also surviving are two sons, Matt (and spouse Cara) Smith and Doug Smith, all of Wabash; a stepson, Dalton Griffith; a stepdaughter, Shelly Vanover, North Webster; a brother; three sisters; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, Eddington Chapel, Wabash, with Pastor Noel Reed officiating.
