LIGONIER - Lanora Alice Binstock, 75, of Ligonier, passed away Aug. 22, 2009, in Goshen General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., to Salvator and Mary Banning Valenziano. She was married to Dale L. Binstock for 41 years, who survives.
She retired from Oak Leaf Village Nursing Home when it closed. At the time of her retirement she was the housekeeping supervisor for 13 years. She was a member of Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, Ligonier.
Also surviving are a son, Michael Binstock; a daughter, Jeanine (and spouse Richard) Byall; a granddaughter, Jill Byall; two brothers, Salvator and Martin Valenziano, both of Florida; two sisters, Verna Weichel, Florida, and Patricia Valenziano, Illinois. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Pasquale, Chester and Nicholas Valenziano, and a sister, Rosemary Wagner.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial mass will be at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at St Patrick's Catholic Church, Ligonier.
Ulrey-Renner and Brazzell Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
