Four Lakeview Middle School students have been expelled after unsuccessfully trying to sell medication and a look-a-like substance Thursday. LMS Assistant Principal Matt Deeds was alerted to two students trying to sell look-a-like substances to other students Thursday morning. One student was found possessing two clear baggies containing amoxicillin and antibacterial medication. The student claimed he found it on the sidewalk in front of his house on the way to school, according to Lt. Kip Shuter, Warsaw Police Department public information officer. The second student was found with a black box containing silica gel beads ripped from freshness packets and had been attempting to sell them as a drug called “ball-busters,” according to Shuter. The students were unsuccessful in making sales of the look-a-like substances, but did give some to two other students. All four students were expelled from school and administrators handled the situation in-house, according to Shuter. No charges were filed.
