Have you ever wondered what your animals are thinking? Or, even better, what they say to one another when you are not around?
These questions and many more are being answered by the students of the drama club at Lakeview Middle School as they prepare for their upcoming production of "Doctor Dolittle."
Based on the wildly popular story by Hugh Lofting, the play takes place in England, more precisely Puddleby-by-the-Marsh.
This production may be the first under the direction of Leesburg resident Dannielle Robertson. Robertson recently came to Indiana from California with a passion for creating a children's theater in Warsaw. Her dream became a reality when Lakeview Principal Tom Kline lent the necessary support in offering her the position with the drama club.
The play will be presented to the LMS student body, as well as the general public, on May 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. in the school theater. Tickets can be purchased at the box office prior to each performance, and are priced at $2 for students, $3 for adults. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m.
