Public Notice A sediment removal project is proposed by the Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners as part of an IDNR Lake a River Enhancement project. Removal of accumulated sediment from Lake Tippecanoe, will be hydraulically dredged, and pumped to dewatering basins. At the completion of the project the basins will be stabilized. The sediment removal will improve the ecological health and aquatic habitat of lakes as well as the recreational value. Details of the project are contained in information and plans received at the Division of Water on August 15, 2014 and September 2, 2014. The site is located approximately 2 miles due west of the town of North Webster, Indiana. The inlet channel and basin of the Hanna B Walker Drain, the channel to James Lake and the Shoshoni inlet, Lake Tippecanoe and James lake, Tippecanoe Township, Kosciusko County.
