NOTICE OF AN APPLICATION FOR A PERMIT FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES TO CONDUCT A RECREATIONAL EVENT ON PUBLIC WATERS You are notified that Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Inc., whose address is P.0. Box 224, Leesburg, IN 46538, has applied to the Division of Law Enforcement of the Department of Natural Resources, under IC 14-15-7-3 and 312 IAC 5-3-3, for a permit to conduct a recreational event on Lake Tippecanoe. The recreational event requested in the application is a flotilla and would be conducted from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, July 3, 2010, or in the event of inclement weather, on Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Lake Tippecanoe. An interested person may do either or both of the following: (A) File a petition with the central office of the division that is signed by at least twenty-five (25) individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and reside in Kosciusko County, Indiana, requesting an informal hearing which would be governed by 312 IAC 3. (B) Request the division to notify the person in writing when an initial determination is made to issue or deny the permit. Following the receipt of the notice under this clause, the person may request administrative review by the commission, under IC 4-21.5 and 312 IAC 3, of the initial determination.
