Lake GamesAnthony Sanson splashes his way out of a small creek during the mountain bike race that was part of The Lake Games in Winona Lake. He was one of hundreds of competitors in the two-day event. Two ultimate challenger awards were given to the top male and female competitors. Jodi Pepper was the female winner and Zach Erba was the male winner. Each received $1,000 in prize money. Pepper won all four events for women, including obstacle, CrossFit, trail run and bike race. As a result, she received a total of $2,750. Grace College served as the main sponsor this year, hosting many of the activities at the Gordon Rec Center. A lunch on Saturday attracted an estimated 500 participants, sponsors and support crew.
