Lake City Roller Dolls is having a fundraiser for the Kosciusko County Cancer Care Fund Saturday. Doors for “Fight Like A Girl” open at 4 p.m. with the event starting at 5 p.m. at Eastlake Skate Center, Warsaw. Lake City Roller Dolls will compete against Ann Arbor Derby Dimes. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Cancer Care Fund assists cancer patients with household expenses while in treatment, as well as rent or mortgage payments, utilities, insurance, food, gas, car payment and prescription medications. Roller Dolls coach Dyrtie Gyrtie has agreed to shave her head during half time. Presale tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any skater, at www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door for $7. Kids 4 and under get in for free. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a chance to win 2015 Roller Dolls season tickets.
