Lake City Bank announced its summer 2026 intern class, made up of 22 students from Indiana colleges and universities.
This year’s intern class includes five students returning for another summer at Lake City Bank. Interns work in areas across the bank to gain real-world experience and explore careers in financial services, the release from Lake City Bank states. The 2026 class of interns also completed group analyses of three of the bank’s strategic initiatives, providing insights from their perspective on the bank’s website, digital banking platform and personal checking products.
“We’re very proud of this year’s internship class. While the group was only with us for the summer, their impact was real and we benefited from their work here. Each intern was part of a team that presented their perspectives on three of our 2026 Strategic Initiatives, and they provided valuable feedback that we will incorporate into our efforts going forward,” said David M. Findlay, chairman and CEO.
