DUNLAP – Wawasee’s girls track team edged Elkhart Memorial 71-60 and lost to host Concord 93-39 Tuesday. Jada Parzygnot won the pole vault for the Lady Warriors, and Kaitlyn Kennedy took first in the shot put. Alexis Manges took the discus competition for Wawasee. Elizabeth Zorn took second in both the 1600 and 3200. Hannah-Marie Lamle was second in the 300 hurdles. The 4x400 relay team of Lamle, Kenzie Smith, Aubrey Kuhn and Sarah Lancaster was second, as was the 4x800 relay squad of Kuhn, Lancaster, Zorn and Smith. The Lady Warriors will compete in the Turtletown Classic in Churubusco on Saturday.
