MIDDLEBURY — In a back-and-forth match at Northridge Thursday, the Wawasee Lady Warriors won in five games, 21-25, 26-24, 25-14, 12-25, 15-13.
Gabi Routson led the Lady Warriors with 22 digs, while Taylor Spangle had three blocks, Anne Beer posted nine kills and Alli Ousley finished with four aces and 14 assists, matching Megan Conley’s assist total.
The win closed Wawasee’s regular season out at 14-17 overall and 2-5 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
Wawasee will be at next week’s West Noble Sectional, facing Tippecanoe Valley at 6 p.m.
Thursday in Bremen The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team defeated Bremen in five games Thursday. In the 25-23, 22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13 road win, junior Courtney Newsome had 13 kills, while freshman Caylie Teel had 11 kills, seven blocks, five aces and 14 digs. Thursday in Bourbon The Triton volleyball team closed its regular season out Thursday with a home loss to Plymouth. In the 25-6, 25-11, 25-20 loss, Triton was led by Megan Howdeshell’s six aces and four kills.
