AKRON – In its final home match of the year, Tippecanoe Valley dropped a 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 decision to Southwood in the Three Rivers Conference finale for both teams. Senior Lexi O’Connell had six digs and a pair of blocks for the Lady Vikings. Classmate Maddy Henninger had 16 assists. Junior Abby Betten recorded six kills, and freshman Sophie Bussard contributed six digs for Valley. Valley finished TRC competition with a 5-4 record, and takes a 17-11 overall mark to Bremen for a match Thursday, then closes out regular season play at the Warsaw Spikers tournament on Saturday. The Lady Vikings then open postseason play Thursday against NorthWood in the West Noble Sectional in Ligonier.
