Lady Trojans Volleyball Sweeps Caston Comets

FULTON – Emma Ross had 11 digs and Jaela Meister pounded out eight kills in Triton’s 25-13, 25-14, 25-13 sweep at Caston in Hoosier North Athletic Conference play Tuesday night.
The Lady Trojan junior varsity  squad also won 25-10, 25-12.
Now 14-13 overall and having finished at 6-2 in the HNAC, Triton will host Wawasee in a non-conference match Tuesday.

Tuesday in Ligonier
Hannah-Marie Lamle had five kills and seven blocks, and Liz Hardy added four kills and five blocks in Wawasee’s 25-11, 25-11, 25-20 loss at West Noble in non-conference play.
Seaquinn Bright recorded four aces, and Madi Wilson had two for the Lady Warriors.
The Lady Warrior junior varsity also lost 10-25, 25-20, 15-14. Olivia Clouse had 11 kills and four aces for Wawasee, with Faith Swihart adding five kills and four aces.
Wawasee will host NorthWood in Northern Lakes Conference play Thursday evening.

Girls Soccer
Tuesday in Converse
Manchester’s girls soccer season came to an end with a 1-0 loss in extra time to North Miami at the Oak Hill Sectional.
North Miami scored on a cross with 23 seconds left in extra time, according to Manchester head coach Jen Birch. She said the Lady Squires made one final run at the equalizer, but were not able to come up with the tying goal.
The Lady Squires finish the 2015 season at 10-4-2.

Monday in Converse
Whitko’s girls soccer season ended at the Oak Hill Sectional with a 3-0 loss to Eastbrook.
The Lady Wildcats finished the season with a 3-10-1 record.
