    CULVER — The Triton baseball team overcame three errors to defeat the Culver Cavaliers 3-2 on the road Thursday.
    In the Northern State Conference victory, Maxx Ullery pitched all seven innings, while also going 2 for 3 at the plate and recording two stolen bases.
    The 6-6 (3-4 NSC) Triton Trojans host John Glenn today in another conference game.

Playing at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Millersburg Thursday, Lakeland Christian Academy fell 196-203 against Clinton Christian. In the loss, LCA’s Ross Wallen and Joel Haines each shot a 48. The LCA Cougars will be at Sprig-O-Mint Golf Course in Bremen for Saturday’s LaVille Invitational at 8 a.m.

Mallorie Jennings’ pitching record moved to 9-7 with the win, as Katie Claxon, Shelby Steinman and Jennings all hit doubles. The Lady Trojans travel to John Glenn today for a Northern State Conference game.

Playing a Northern Lakes Conference match at NorthWood Thursday, the Wawasee girls tennis team lost 5-0. In the loss, Wawasee’s No. 2 doubles team of Morgan Geer and Mia Hauser were the only Lady Warriors to force a third set. The 3-8 (1-5 NLC) Lady Warriors host Warsaw today in another NLC match.
