MICHIGAN CITY — Playing without senior center Nikki Grose, the Warsaw girls basketball team won its second-straight game Saturday at Michigan City. In the early-day contest, the Warsaw Lady Tigers (2-3) were 59-38 victors, dropping Michigan City to 2-4 on the year. Playing without Grose, who was sidelined due to medical reasons, Warsaw was led by junior Vicki Harris scored a game-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while also recording six rebounds and two assists. Also for Warsaw, senior Brooklyn Harrison had eight points and five steals, freshman Page Desenberg seven points and seven rebounds and junior Erin Clemens recorded six points and nine rebounds. In a meet in which a new record was set in every event, the fifth-ranked Penn Kingsmen finished first with 722 points, followed by Elkhart Central’s 488 and Warsaw 471, rounding out the top three.
