KENDALLVILLE — In a loaded East Noble Invitational field, the 12th-ranked Warsaw girls golf team finished fifth Saturday. No. 4 Noblesville won the 12-team tournament with a 308 on the par-70 Noble Hawks Golf Links’ course. Following Noblesville were No. 1 Penn (313), No. 3 Carmel (315), Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (337) and Warsaw (349), rounding out the top five. Penn’s Kari Bellville took medalist honors with a 71, while Warsaw’s low score was a 86, shot by Alexis Manwaring. Also for Warsaw, Elizabeth Meadows and Nikki LaLonde each finished with an 87, while Ashley Murrell came in with an 89 and Morgan Sands shot a 92. The Lady Tigers were back in action today at Stonehenge Golf Club against Columbia City before traveling to Lake James for the Fremont Invitational Thursday.
