Lady Tigers Net Win Over Plymouth

Warsaw’s varsity girls tennis team opened its Northern Lakes Conference season Tuesday by hosting and defeating the Plymouth Lady Pilgrims 3-2.
With the win, the Lady Tigers improved to 2-1 overall, while Plymouth fell to 1-1.
At No. 1 singles, Warsaw’s Sarah Hartle defeated Kelly Hoeffler 6-2, 6-1, and at No. 3 singles, Jacqueline Sasso beat Ellen Smith 6-4, 6-1.
The Lady Tigers’ other team point came from the No. 1 doubles match, where Lindsay Sciarra and Olivia Wallin topped Marissa German and Andria Shook 7-6 (7-2) 6-2.
Plymouth won the junior varsity match 4-1.
The Lady Tigers are in again today at conference foe Northridge.
